The ridiculous 'deciding point' rule is a problem here - if that wasn't in place there wouldn't be as much pressure on a single point like there was in this case. And it threw them right off in a way that is much more difficult to address when games go by so quickly.

They need to give doubles proper games and matches FFS. not these dumb abbreviated ones.

Exactly and She says Lucie checked the ball? By the time Lucie hit the ball Cicak was was looking on the other side of the damn net. She lied and I keep hitting rewind. As SOON as Lucie hit the "out" ball Cicak was already looking on the Russians side of the net. So her reasoning is all BS IMO

It was on top of Hlavackova when she challenged. Again Cicak's explanation was that she challenged after the ball went out which wasn't true. Even the Eurosport commentators turned a 180, when the point was replayed over and over again in the big screen during the changeover. They even said that she wasn't looking at Hlavackova challenging cause Hlavackova only raised her finger.

And she also said that you guys need to make a decision quick, but how can you do that in doubles. She was rambling for an explanation.

With her i think it's a tactic more than anything, cause even in singles there are times she doesn't shriek.

Re: Live Commentary Thread vol24

I think Sanchez doesn´t have much respect for the Czechs.

I am not a fan of the direction a lot of Maria threads have taken over the last 12 months.
The undertone is very disappointing, aggressive and the comments are sometimes rude to a player just trying to earn a living, playing her hardest and having a good amount of success given her god given, natural talents.
You made the list: NEW President Bouchard, Cibulkova, Mladenovic, Wozniacki, Kerber, Cornet, Watson, Broady.
Please note this is a signature about Tatjana Maria

I agree never liked this deciding point crap they are pulling, specially they have 2:30 hours before the next match. I think it's a huge slap in the face of doubles.
