They kinda still are. She created lots of chances for herself today, and then would DF or she would miss a pretty routine shot, and Vika would take the game.

I mean, if you don't believe me, maybe go and watch the match. Some of Maria's misses today were pretty awful. Particularly the one on SP

Maria I do feel for her. She simply doesn't have what it takes to completely outhit Vika atm.

Too many errors from Maria, great win by Vika!

Vika'a ice cream joke during the presentation was lost in translation

Why are people so arrogant and harsh at each other on occasion? Like there is a justification. Most of the posters, I'm sure, aren't even fully aware of it.

These are the sexiest qualities one can strive to possess. "

Why are you even bothering? It's pretty obvious some people get more satisfaction from someone losing than someone winning?

Arguing with them over pointless and petty stuff is pathetic.

Yes.
She hit 12 UEs to go 0-4 down. Then got it to 5-3 and Vika was beginning to really feel the pressure and Maria had GP but missed a few routines. The start of the second set was surprising though considering it felt like Maria would take the early advantage at the beginning of the second but more UEs. Then at 5-0 down she started to play.

If you watch the highlight reel you'll see 90% of it will be Maria. There were less than 10 points were Vika was just too good and there wasn't anything Maria could have done and then a few long rallies ending in the Maria error although Maria actually held up very well in the long ones today.

Most of the points were a winner/forced error or UE from Maria's racquet. It wasn't on par with her AO/IW performance as she created a lot of chances for herself only to miss routines, it wasn't brainless bashing at least.

Is this your way with dealing with ANOTHER beatdown by Masha?!

No Serena-fan are celebrating neither the loss by Masha nor the win by Vika..we are commentating on the dynamics of the rivalry and how it is that Vika totally owns Masha on HC's.

Always bet on black!
