It's fun to watch because of how much Sharapova visibly hates losing to Azarenka.

Of course Radwanska can beat Na at a major. Na is one of the streakiest players on tour, and even when she plays well can badly choke away a match (eg- Rome final this year). It is true Radwanska doesnt have the game to beat Na but she can be on court when Na loses the match, which there is probably atleast a 50% of happening.

Kvitova has turned into a rather mediocre player this year. She cant seem to either handle other power players or great grinders either anymore. Radwanska has a good shot vs her too.

I stand by what I said. If Li is playing well enough to make a QF, she's playing too good for Radwanska.

A lot of young pricks on here satisfied themselves while thinking about them.

BepaZvonareva Don't read my reps anymore, very relaxing Lydia Ko , Felicity Jones, Emilia Clarke, Rachel Khoo.

None of them dominated Serena like Azarenka's dominating Maria off of clay. In fact the Juju rivalry is pretty much like the Azarenka vs Sharapova one..Juju wins on clay, but the wins off clay are just two.

Really? Serena got her ass handed to Henin and pretty badly in 2007 with 3 losses in a row on 3 differents surfaces in 3 differents majors in 1 YEAR if that's not domination I don't know what it is. I won't even argue that much about the retirement in YEC cause we both know another loss was coming up.

Azarenka never had that kind of domination over Maria in 1 year. But I admit that this year she has the edge with 3-0 lead on HC(2-0 in majors).

As I said OFF clay..Juju's wins at Wimby and the U.S. open are the only two wins off of clay for Juju against Serena. And those two wins, specially the first one..Serena injured her thumb a match prior, otherwise the h2h would've been 2-2 in Juju's best year.

Re: Were you guys satisfied by Sharapova and Azarenka this year?

How can you not be satisfied? Within the rivalry: 5th meeting this year, 4th final between them, shade... For womens tennis: stability and consistency while winning SLAMS, legitimized rankings, a readworthy rivalry. Serena doesn't overshadow them, she just adds to the awesomeness. Maybe not a golden era, but the next year or so will be the peak to 2010/11's valley.

Serena Williams: I'm going for team Sharapova 'coz she's hot
CAREER GRAND SLAM.

Bring on all the pretenders. Someday, WE WILL BE REMEMBERED

Yeah, if not for that injury, Serena would have won for sure.

Azarenka - Pennetta - Hantuchova - Ivanovic - Wozniacki - Stephens - Stosur

Not really. It looked promising after Stuttgart and the USO semi but it seems to have gotten back to Australia-level tennis from Maria in this match-up.

At Wimbledon?! No doubts about it..the U.S. open win is legit. Juju dominated Serena...but no way she wins at Wimbledon if Serena isn't injured'.

But of course you're free to disagree.

Re: Were you guys satisfied by Sharapova and Azarenka this year?

They've both had great seasons though Serena's been clearly the player of the year..

Azarenka finally consistently fulfilling the promise she showed and getting a slam too. Wasn't sure she would sustain her level all year. After all Maria's injury problems how can anyone not be impressed with her getting a French Open title and being ranked so high again.

The only problem for Maria is that she has received a few beatings from both Serena and Vika this year so probably feels quite a bit behind them.

I disagree that anyone can know the outcome of a hypothetical match for sure. That's all.
