People can trash them like always but actually it was enjoyable match with some fun rallies and great points. Caroline is mental problem for Aga in recent years but in this match, it was different and the big points went for Radwanska although Caroline was playing much better than yesterday.

Also worth noting that one of the defining characteristics of Radwanska's career has been how many poor h2hs she has turned around. There have been so many players who used to be bad match ups for her that she is now very comfortable beating. Caroline Wozniacki is only the latest to join that group.

There's one obvious exception that I'll point out before someone else does

Deserved win for Aga. She's the better player of the two right now. But overall a good tournament for Caro and another step in the right direction. The changes in her game are quite apparenet in a match like this. But she's still much too inconsistent, and she lacks the confidence to properly follow up on her approach shots.

Sure. She hasn't yet sorted out Azarenka, or Safarova for that matter.

But with her history of figuring out players one can not rule out the possibility that at some point she will find a way to beat these players too. Obviously it hasn't happened yet, but alot of people never thought she would find a way to beat Zvonereva, Wozniacki or Jankovic either.

Re: Tokyo QF: A. Radwanska def. Wozniacki 6-4, 6-3

it was NID, Aga plays a better defence than what Caro does nowadays and there's no way Aga misses as much as Caro needs her opponents to do in order to win matches...I guess the last point summed up the match pretty well: Caro trying to do something, but that's against her nature, so she can't hurt Aga enough to make the point and ends up missing points she should close. Funny enough this was the way Caro built her success

may your choices reflect your hopes not your fears.

Nothing. It's something an idiot make up and a bunch of other idiots are following up on it in a desperate attempt to look cool.

Re: Tokyo QF: A. Radwanska def. Wozniacki 6-4, 6-3

Biggest difference is in Caro's mentality. During her peak, when most of her matches (even against the lower scrubs) used to go to 3-3 40-40 she used to get in that first serve, make her shots count with an unbelievable regularity. Now she is dfing at 4-4 40-40 and missing easy shots and thats just not going to cut it since her playstyle is based on outlasting her opponnets, especially on key points. She is just not clutch enough.
