Re: Tokyo R3: Azarenka def. Vinci 6-4, 6-2

She looked so sick in the first, looked like a breeze would knock her over

Great fight, people always give her shit for supposedly retiring easily but she proved her point today!

Honestly, it shows how much ahead she is of most of the field that she's still able to play like this and win quite comfortably in straights, even though she's sick.

Now off to bed and get some good sleep girl

Roby you had your chances

Illarenka vs Kirby would be fun to watch

Vinci should be ashamed of her flopping like a cheap tent vs ill opponent.. Vika can be proud of her fighting skills , but she was almost close to fainting in the first set

Vika more agitated than usual this match, clearly not feeling very well. At least she won . Roby didn't play particularly well this match but even then she has a lovely game to watch.

I don't know how serious her problem is but I hope she gets well soon.
Good job fighting through this, especially the 1st set when she was feeling obviously very unwell.

Fingers crossed she'll be okay tomorrow. Has to be 100% to win that.

Tournament is turning into total shitfest. All players are ill, unfit , tired , matches are hardly watchable. And no crowd at all ...
