Huh?

They last played in IW 2011, Caro leads their H2H 4-2 and yet they`re still friends.

This whole line of thinking is typical for TF, people are always looking for childish drama. Ohh two players who are friendly with each other faced off on the court. The loser must hate the winner now

I'm really glad those girls in their late teens/early 20s are much more grown up than most people here seem to think.

I don't think there are many actual 'friends' in tennis. Maybe acquaintances would be a better word to use. From what I've seen and heard most players hang out with each other during tournaments, events, go out to dinner occasionally like many co-workers do in the normal workplace; but when they go home they have their own circle of close friends. Or maybe i just have a different definition of what a friend is.

Yes, most players admit to that actually. I think it's normal, they see so much of each other on tour all year and at some point you`re just happy to spend time with other people. Especially as they usually get to see so little of their non-tennis friends & family.

Agreed, there are a few exceptions but I think mostly these are just "work friends". Sometimes people do become best friends with someone they work with but that's kind of rare. That being said, Caro and Vika did seem unusually close for tennis players for a while, not sure if they are as close anymore but as others have said, that likely has to do with Rory more than anything that has happened on the tennis court.

Seriously? Make up something better, these women are adults. Caro owns Radwanska and they are still best friends.

Angie's blog from August this year:

Which players on the tour are good friends of yours?
I am very friendly with the Polish players, also Caroline, but I'm close with the German players too, like Andrea - I practice a lot with her. Anna-Lena, Julia and Mona are good friends. I can't pick just one best friend though!

She didn't mention Sabine though Seriously though, people need to stop having their blinders on when it comes to Caroline. Even if you dislike her and her style of play, it's impossible to deny that she's very popular among the other players on the tour.

Leaving out Sabine was a honest mistake I bet

Just wait for Vikapower to explain that Vika hates Caro and their friendship is just some PR stunt and she secretly wishes nothing more than to humiliate Caro on court soon. Poor guy is so incredibly pressed, he's made up an alternate reality to cope with it.

No it does not. Sabine is as Polish as Caro so if she excludes her from that she would have to exclude Sabine as well.

So what's their deal, then? Sabine got pissed at her because of the Wimbledon loss?

No, these two simply don't seem to like each other. It happens.

No, they have been like that for a while now, even before Wimble, there seems to be tension between them. I don't buy the she's a good friend quote from Kerber.
