14 doubles slams.

Zvereva is in the HoF for her doubles achievements even though her singles career wasn't necessarily HoF worthy.

Not only that.

1) Helena helped Hingis to become the youngest slam champion of all time (1996 Wimbly doubles)

2) In 1984, Helena snapped Navratilova's 74-match winning streak, the longest winning streak ever

3) In 1990, she and Novotna fell just one match short of the calendar grandslam in doubles

4) she appeared in four singles slam finals

5) she and her mother Věra are the only mother and daughter in the history of tennis to reach TOP 5 in singles

Helena rocks

I hope she gets it

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

As far as women's singles is concerned - in 2014 it'll possibly be Pearce, in 2015 Davenport, in 2016 Venus Mauresmo.

I hope Hingis, Stich, Sukova, and Tiriac are all inducted. Former journeyman player and awful commentator Cliff Dudsdale has no place.

Cliffy is awesome!

I doubt Sukova will get in. She would have a chance if she were American but we know there's a bias against non-Americans at the HOF.
