What about Errani?
"this bitch" has played 17 tournaments this year. Bartoli has played 20, Cibulkova 22, Vinci 23, Errani 19.

Errani has had (so far) 52 wins this season.

Re: 50+ Win Seasons

Interesting that S.Williams apparently has always played the least amount allowed. It's one of the things that IMO counts against her in GOAT discussions. Her best seasons don't match Graf's:

1987: 69-2
1988: 73-3
1989: 87-2
1990: 72-5
1991: 75-8
1992: 71-7
1993: 76-6

Wouldn't that be a positive for her? She's been able to win 14+ majors playing almost 1/2 the schedule of anyone else who's won more?

Career Grand Slam in your 20s? Been there done that. Career golden slam your 30s?
There's only 1.
Been around the world, copped all 4 thrice.

Re: 50+ Win Seasons

Just checked out 2003 for Kim. What a beast. Basically reached QF of better in all her events, reached the finals in almost all the events and won 9 of them. That was the year of Williams vs. Belgians, with Williams v Williams in Australian and Wimbledon with Serena taking both of them (both other SF'ists were the Belgians) and Henin vs. Clijsters in French and USO with Henin taking both of them. Justine barely edged out Kim for YE No. 1, definitely helped out by the huge point differential between the W and RU of a slam. What an awesome year.
