Is Peak Bartoli the new Peak Pierce?

Marion has these ridiculous matches every so often where she looks unbeatable. It's astonishing to watch, her game has obvious limitations but when she gets in the zone it's just winners left and right. It seems to happen only against top ranked players too.

Eee no. Peak Pierce would disspatch in straights (not losing more than 4 games) 2 of the best players of all time, peak Bartoli barely survived last night's match against Kvitova.

LEGEND. Nicole. Caro. Aga. Sloane. Taylor.

She won 12 of the last 14 games. That's not barely surviving. Yeah, she often has a poor first set before the rampage starts but she's destroyed some pretty good players at her peak.

hum no lmao. Peak Pierce won GS and made final GS against the best, won big tournaments and was constantly going deep in tournaments. Peak Bartoli struggles against an erratic Kvitova? lol

Wozniak~ElTabakh ~Marino~Eugenie Bouchard...and the other Canucks!
Maria Sharapova~Anna Chakvetadze~Jelena Dokic~Laura Robson ~Sabine Lisicki

Obviously Peak Pierce could keep it up over a full tournament. Peak Bartoli only shows up for 2 sets at most. But she's scary good when she does.
