Short- and long-distance runners among tennis players

In most of sport disciplines there is natural specialisation based on predispositions to short-term or long-term effort.
There are sprinters or long-distance runners, cyclists specializing in one-day classics or Tours. Contemporary tennis rivalry
is basically determined by long-distance 1-2 weeks long tournaments. Rankings say who best survives long exhausting series of matches.
What would be classification if there was separate ranking for one-day events or Federation Cup only?
There are players capable of one big splash who never fare as well in tournaments.
Young players as a rule have difficulty in repeating individual achievements
So which players in your opinion are typical tennis sprinters
