My thoughts exactly. Hopefully her double match will be scheduled for a session night on the Ashe.

Give back 2006 US Open to Justine

No. She lost fair and square.

Re: Should Kim have a had better send off for her singles career?

It's not the U.S. Open's fault. They didn't know she would lose to Robson and they put her on Ashe for both of her matches. It's not like Wimbledon where they put her on some outside court for her last match. The shame of it is that it would have been a much better atmosphere had it been scheduled for Armstrong and Grandstand. They should really just tear down Ashe, it's such a terrible, dead stadium except on a few occasions.

Yes. But maybe they will do something after the doubles and mixed.
It also sucks that when she played her last singles match the stadium was quite empty. Sad to see her go out like that.

She is a bigger champion than Dementieva and Dementieva had an amazing goodbye ceremony.

I hated how Ashe was so empty. She deserved more, I wish they'd given her a night match.

Unexpected loss in the 2nd round. If she had reached the semis or final against Serena or someone high profile, the house would have been packed 22k. However, 2nd round? Uh-uh....

they might organize something later on or she might be back for the trophy presentation... they were probably not expecting her to lose this early...

At least it's better than the last retirement when she lost to Vakulenko in Warsaw

Yea and no. Wish it could've been better, but that's kinda what you get for losing to a teenager in the 2nd round.

Serena Williams: I'm going for team Sharapova 'coz she's hot

She lost in an intense and superb match, that's enough for me.

Definitely. I thought a few players would go out and hug her or something like that.

Azarenka Radwanska Muguruza Bouchard Wozniacki Cirstea Mladenovic
