Is Radwanska the next glamour girl of tennis?

A year ago I would have laughed at such a suggestion but after her year and her Wimbledon run she's won over a lot of her detractors. She's now got the game that will get her deep in tournaments and she's one of the frontrunners for year end #1.

Sharapova's had the crown for far too long (not even Kournikova had it this long) and now I think as we enter the autumn of her career, she's not getting the results that give her the exposure needed to sustain the throne and her crown is inevitably going to be snatched. I think Radwanska is the new "it" girl of the WTA and she's ready to take the prime position.

She's got the results and she's got the look. She's glamorous on and off the court. Off court she's a stunner (see above) and she's got a banging body, even better than Maria's. The difference between Maria and Aga's bodies is the same as the difference between you standard catwalk model rake and a Victoria's secret angel.

Azerenka can't take that crown because she's not attractive and she has a horrible personality. She's been #1 and a Grand slam champion for a while now and there seems to be no interest her comercially. Petra looks like a farmer. Daniela is finished like Maria and Kirilenko never could string together the results.

Another reason why I've jumped to this conclusion is in the recently released Forbes list of the highest paid sportswomen Aga is already listed. This is before she's won a grandslam and before she's made it to #1. Sharapova had to win wimbledon before she could start earning the big bucks. Imagine how much Aga will be earning when she actually does win a slam. In the UK she won over a lot of fans, the Wimbledon crowd fell in love with the WTA's Secret Angel Agnieszka Radwanska.

I expect that because all the greats have haters. Hopefully once they get bored a discussion can start properly on the subject.

She's the most likeable player in the top 10 and the most commercially marketable. If she can keep the good results up and then pairs her results with next years Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition (something she could totally do because she has the body) it will set her up perfectly for when she does win a slam.

When the Williams' sisters retire what are the WTA going to do, rely on Sharapova to carry it on her injured shoulders. They need some more big names, Wozniacki doesn't have the game or the results and her forehead will hold her back. Radwanksa is the obvious answer, look wise she's got everything Kournikova had.

Aga disagrees with the doubters:

No one seems to be able to suggest any alternatives, she's the obvious answer.
