After reading almost all the posts in this topic, I must say that I agree with some people, partially agree with other people, and completely disagree with other people.
If Sara Errani will reach the Top 10 one day, I will simply think that she deserved it, having earned more points than most of the players in Women's Tennis, with just nine girls having done something better than her. So, if she would ever make it, what would be the problem with that?
About her game, I don't want to say a lot: Sara has improved a lot during these years, and has made herself a player with a great variety, and no more a player who wins counting on her opponent's errors. Sadly for her, her height doesn't allow her to have a better serve, but the improvements on this shot, too, showed how much she is fighting: Errani now uses a lof of spin, and tries to create a good angle in order to not start the rally as "the one who must run more". She will never serve grenades, I hope people will understand it soon, because she simply cannot.
And she is one of the biggest fighters I have ever seen. She wants to win every point, and she never gives up. Surely, a lot of players are more talented than her, but how many players fight like she does?
This year has been fabolous for her. What must she do now? Collect a win against a player in the Top 10?
It will come, soon or later. People don't expect that she will do it in the same way they thought she could have ever done what she has done this year.
So, to answer the question of this topic: hard to say. If she improves day by day like she is doing, it will be no more just a dream for her.
