Playing singles & doubles at two different tournaments in one week

I noticed that Daniella Jefflea of Australia played singles qualifying (losing in the first round) in Strasbourg but is in the doubles draw in Brussels. Is this allowed? I suppose it is or they wouldn't have accepted her!

I remember Kondratieva and Lefevre lost in singles qualifying in San Diego and didn't make the doubles cut but they played doubles in a Canadian ITF a few days later (and lost R1 in that too )

Well observed. I've never heard of that happening. Quite bizarre. But I guess if it is allowed it probably isn't the 1st time it has happened. Probably something that would often go unnoticed on the ITF circuit. I suspect the one person who can probably shed some more light on this is (as always) Meelis. Meelis where are you? This thread needs you.

If you lose sat. in Qualies you can just Sign-In in doubles sunday before noon... From Strasbourg to Brussels are a few hours drive should you not beable to get in same tourny as you played in the Qualies...

Please visit my Caroline website.
