Miami and Rome. I think it's pretty much consensual.

Re: Top PM & P5 tournament

I try to keep most my excitement for slam events only. If I get excited every week I would need medication to calm me down

Miami is the most prestigious. Then IW or Rome.

Me. I'm more excited about fast Cincinatti courts than slow ass Rome clay.

Re: Top PM & P5 tournament

Miami for PM.

The best P5 varies by the year. Generally they all end up sucking even when the draw looks GOAT. Can't forget Toronto last year and how everyone was excited for Venus/Ana R1, Venus/Caro R3, Serena/JJ R2, Serena/Kim R3, etc.... and then every big name bar Serena/Vika was out of the tournament by Wednesday. Rome ends up being the best event more often than not.

Re: Top PM & P5 tournament

Agreed. Everyone turns out for Miami and Rome. Everyone needs/wants the clay practice because RG is always the most wide open slam. All the players want the tough matches on the clay. On hardcourts, players know they don't have to test themselves before Australia and the US. And at Wimbledon, we've seen Venus and Serena win it year after year without a grass warmup.

Indian Wells and Rome. I just think the atmosphere and environment at IW looks nicer than in Miami, even though IW has lazy ass crowds.

Re: Top PM & P5 tournament

Miami and Rome.
These two are pretty much the most prestigious non-slams events for years now (IW is losing it's charm and WTA matches there are usually utter shitte quality)
