Picking Ana as dark horse is justified. But rest.

azarenka can still win this thing, so that'd make 2/4.

She made the semis last week , she beat Hantuchova comfortably and even gave Vee a tough fight.

Lisicki?Pennetta? - were the editors drunk?

for me it was clear Sharapova and Azarenka for sure in Semifinals + one of the Williams sisters + someone random

it was super cute and funny how you made an effort to come up with only 3 arguments, one of which was so spectacularly laughable. and i'm not saying ana was a super-bad pick, in fact i really adore her!

Meh. Outside of Pennetta, Lisicki (and maybe Kvitova), the picks aren't so bad.

all dark horses are too dark in their picks
and Kvitova as a winner in US slow court Miamy is laughable

Seriously considering Ana made IW semis last week picking Ana as just a Dark Horse isn't bad especially when other picks include Pennetta.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Lisicki reach the same stage as Ana this week? In which case aren't they equally justified?

Maria Sharapova
Sabine Lisicki - Victoria Azarenka - Nastya Pavyuchenkova
Yanina Wickmayer - Laura Robson - Aga Radwanska - KiKi Mladenovic - Angelique Kerber
Simona Halep - Heather Watson - Julia Goerges - Kimiko Date Krumm - Lucie Safarova - Nadia Petrova

Given recent performance prior to this tournament, Ana's been doing much better than Bine.

I'm glad to see that there are some people that still consider Pennetta a darkhorse.

Flavia Pennetta - Victoria Azarenka - Andrea Petkovic
