Actress I would like to play me in a film about my life: Marion Cotillard. If I wasn’t a tennis player, I would be: A scientist. I never travel to a tournament without: My paints. Favourite city on the tour: New York City. The last place I visited on holiday: The Maldives. Favourite restaurant on the tour: L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon – New York City. Favourite shop on the tour: Any Louis Vuitton shops. The last book I read: Steve Jobs’ book. The last film I watched: Drive. The last album I listened to: David Guetta and Florida. The last meal I cooked: Chocolate cake. The last joke I laughed at: Each morning when I listen to the radio. The last time I was recognised by a member of the public: In Paris the other day. The last time I broke a racket: I’ve never broken a racket in my life. Grass, hard or clay? Grass. Hot or cold? Hot. Sand or snow? Sand. Be invisible or fly? Fly. If I won the lottery, I would: Give it back to charity.
But I, being poor, have only my dreams
I have spread my dreams under your feet
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams
Re: Marion Bartoli finally confesses her love for cake
Someone left my cake out, in the rain... I don't think that I can take it, cause it took so long to bake it... And I'll never have, the recipe again...
Ohhh nooooooooooooowwwwwwwoooooooooooowwwwwwwwooooooooh h ohhhh ohhh OHHH
I swear I would pay to watch Bartoli sing Donna Summer's MacArthur Park
The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.
If I won the lottery, I would: Give it back to charity.
Well said young lady!
I completely agree well said Marion and to pick Marion Cotillard as the actress shows great taste in acting ability. A lot of actresses win oscars for no reason at all (Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock) but great performances are a rariety and Marion Cotillard is a brilliant actress.
RIP Elena Baltacha, thank you for dedicating your life to a sport we all love. You'll be missed but never forgotten.
