Mid april and The Empress had already played 10 events? Thats like Kim/Serena's whole year.

So true, so true... You could even swap Ivanovic & Jankovic with any two from top 8, and it would still be true.
Especially if you did just that.

Opinions
You know what inspector "Dirty" Harry Callahan has to say about them...

It's easy when you play 1-2 matches at most of these events

I would love this YEC.
I don't get why Kerber is still not in top10.

Azarenka with almost 5000 points already and 3 slams yet to be played. That's just crazy.

You mean in the 52 weeks ranking ? She will more likely be there after Roland Garros, it can happen sooner but she will need very good Madrid or Rome.

Re: 2012 RACE TO ISTANBUL YEC (Stuttgart Semifinals)

This is the first time in a long time I wouldn´t mind a 16 player YEC with four groups. Right now it would be:

Azarenka
Stosur
Errani
Barthel

Sharapova
Kvitova
Li
Hantuchova

Radwanska
Wozniacki
Clijsters
Görges

Bartoli
Kerber
Serena
Ivanovic

Looks nice. Just cancel Sofia.
