Congrats Kim! (Rena- Steffi knows how you feel)

CONGRATS TO KIM FOR WINNING THE BIGGEST TITLE OF HER CAREER.

Rena you were the favourite to win it but Kim was too good. You now know how Steffi felt about winning the French, Winbledon and US Open only to lose at the Championships. Congratulations on an incredible year Rena!

I'm just worried about Rena's financial future.

After all she only got $382,000 for being the runner up.

I'm accepting donations on behalf of Serena.

Serena can only get better from here and onwards.

"When I was four years old, we moved from England to USA, when my mother found out that I won't be KING!" -- Bob Hope--

Madame Oracene Williams could certainly teach the French & Belgian crowds on how to upgrade their respective primitive behaviours during a tennis match.

So can Kim. I'm expecting some great matches between them next year

When did Steffi take the French, Wimb & US and lose the season ender? I can only recall 1988, yet she took the Aussie that year as well.

I first became impressed with Kim the way she handled the Indian Wells debacle with Serena. Then she almost beat Serena at the 1999 US Open. She continues to impress me.

Kim and Serena could be rivals for the next five years.

Mark- I was referring to Steffi's Golden Slam year, yes. Was it Lori McNeil or Pam Shriver that ousted her?

Good ole Pam Shriver! Her lone win over Steffi, i believe.

Really? I thought Pam would've had a few wins early in Steffi's career. Jill Hetherington said during the Candian Open years ago (she was doing commentary at the time) that she was hapy to beat Steffi once...when Steffi was 12.
