Turkish Fans Best Tennis Fans?

I don't get it! Is tennis big in Turkey?
How are these fans so great, with their signage and awesome attendance. They're so electrified and into the matches.

Not big at all. Close to non-existent. It's good organization though with the shady camera angles and everything. I don't know how they filled the stadium. Those 'fans' must be paid to act like such proper tennis fans.

They are passionate people. Not sure about their overall tennis knowledge, but hey, they are at least there.

I feel bad for them. I know most were probably hoping to see the girl from the annoying Turkish Airlines commerical.

I am not conceited, I am just convinced

So refreshing to see fans on the tour for once, especially after the laughable Doha YECs.

The majority of the population in Qatar are imported workers from places like India who live in horrible conditions. It doesn't surprise me that most people can't afford to buy tickets to watch tennis.

Turkey, on the other hand, is a country with a real middle class who can fill tennis stadiums.

Beijing is a huge city.
And it's not just that it's full, it's that everyone is respectful but also involved. They're providing a very favourable tennis atmosphere.
