Did ESPN Jinx The Williams Sisters?

Yes I know this sounds silly since I'm not even superstitious, however, ESPN was planning to air a repeat 30-minute documentary on Venus and Serena just before tomorrow night's final. Clearly ESPN was counting on an all-Williams final. In fact the decision to move the final to prime time was predicated on both being in the final. The way things are going with Venus out, and it appears that Serena is not too far behind.

In all seriousness, ESPN has not had good results with the Sisters, starting with the infamous IW 2000 "incident". Then last year at the AO, neither one made it to the final and now this. Oh well, there is always next year.

Well Serena has only dropped a set- last I checked, she needs to lose two before she is out

And I'm pretty sure it's a coincidence
