Re: Prediction: Wozniacki 2012

she will continue to hog the premiers that give out far too many point in relation to their draws and where they are on the calendar (charleston, brussels, new haven). there are some new ones for her next year to, seen as standford will be practically a no show for top players, and either sydney or brisbane will be weak and she will probably bag that one to. this will keep her ranking inflated so when she does play the bigger tournaments she can make the semis or futher while not beating anyone of note. she will continue to have 'bad' losses as every now and again a low ranked player will just hit her off the court. slams will still evade her as even the likes of hantuchova know to bring it when it counts, at te slams.

it will be much more of the same old same old.

Re: Prediction: Wozniacki 2012

I really like her, but she seems unwilling to adapt her game and make the changes that will take her to the next level. Maybe she's too 'nice' to be ruthless in the way you need to be to win a Slam - see Kvitova. She needs to work on varying her game and being more aggressive. My bet is still top 5 but no slam this time next year, although she has the talent to win one.

Actually I've long thought Vika would win a Slam before Caro but neither has yet.....

Re: Prediction: Wozniacki 2012

It's downhill for her atm and it's not so easy to see what to about it. Top 5 without a major. Vika'll do a lot better. She has more power than Caro and she can almost match her in consistency now. She may well become the new number one next year ,not necessarily winning a slam, if she' remains injury free. Vera, Petra maybe Maria,Serena and Sam will be ranked higher too.

Re: Prediction: Wozniacki 2012

I think she is definitely on her way down. She has not shown any improvements for awhile now, and her results have gotten significantly worse in the last 5 months. She will not win a major, and probably drop out of the top 5 as once she loses #1 her draws will get tougher.

I took her out after Rome, because I didnt like she played MMs Brussels and Copenhagen, which fucked up her slams after
And because i got tired of her style, but I want her to win a slam in the future, I still cheer for her sometimes

That moment where even TF as a whole that doesn't like her much actually predicted a better year for her than she's having.

Well I think hater Chrissie-fan has won the predicition contest against fanboy dsanders. Wozniacki almost won no title, almost lost in the first round of all four slams and she is about as close to #7 as she is to #40 points-wise.

I am not a fan of the direction a lot of Maria threads have taken over the last 12 months.
The undertone is very disappointing, aggressive and the comments are sometimes rude to a player just trying to earn a living, playing her hardest and having a good amount of success given her god given, natural talents.
You made the list: NEW President Bouchard, Cibulkova, Mladenovic, Wozniacki, Kerber, Cornet, Watson, Broady.
Please note this is a signature about Tatjana Maria

Because that would have been idiotic to be honest. Nobody could have seen this coming. That Chrisse-fanīs mock posting was the closest to the truth is scary. Letīs just hope for Wozīs fans that his other sarcastic prediction of 2013 retirement as a golf wag doesnīt become a reality, too.

Not to disrespect CW but to reference her GAME it's not idiotic IMO to feel that a pusher will be knocked out. With a couple big blows she isn't in the top 10. I saw it coming. Hell once Serena and Venus started to bloom I could see hingis fading. It isn't idiotic it just IS what it IS. Again IMO. She has a nice game yes but she also has a game that doesn't decide the outcome. If everyone cuts back on the errors and plays that controlled agression CW gets the L not the W. To me that is what her 2012 represents. Even that Wimbledon loss. She faced someone who has more power than her and wayy Less experience. But for that one match she was able to aggressively control her power and get the W. it is what it is. Everyone knows what she needs to do. Till she does that I'm like the previous post. She is about as close to 7 as she is 40 and at the rate she is going her rivals will feel like they are playing someone around 40 instead of 7.
