And accidentally continue taking something that is not a PED because WADA couldn't bother to inform their athletes in a proper fashion simply does not warrant a harsher punishment.

I know it rained at Wimbledon once, before they got a roof.

didn't Scottsdale get cancelled because of bad weather once... I believe equal points and prize money were awarded to the two finalists

Eastbourne one year, maybe 1997. I think Novotna and ASV shared the title as the final was rained out

Think that was 2000 - Hingis and Davenport split the prize money/points.

Estoril 2010 final was moved to an indoor hard facility with no crowd due to bad weather. Honestly, it would have been better to be cancelled

Doubles final.

Singles final was played in Court 1 due to the men's SFs being played simultaneously at both Court Central and Centralito. Court 1 not streamed. Actual spectators in attendance (other than reporters, coaches, tournament officials, etc.) up until the last changeover: 2

Kvitova * Vaidisova * Garcia * Robson

Eu Jogo Ténis

Prokofiev + Son Goku = pwnage

Yeah, but I mean a whole tournament...

Imagine it would rain cat and dogs during the first week of the US Open, without any possibility to play... Would they cancell the tournament then?

Yes. Back in the pre-open era some events were totally washed out without even playing 1 match.

More recently the Swiss Open was washed out and cancelled in 1983 with a couple of women having reached the quarters and most still at the round of 16.

Chichester, a tour level event, was also totally washed out in 1977.

The most heavily rain affected slam was probably the US National doubles in 1955. The event was hit by a hurricane. It rained so much and so hard that most men's teams defaulted. As a lark those who hung around floated boats on the courts that were totally underwater.

A funny twist to a rain saga happened in 1933 during the women's US Nationals. At that time the women played the whole event over a week. Rain threw the schedule back several days into the second week as the ladies reached the semifinals. It rained and then rained more. Offcials were hoping to play on the second Sunday and the skies actually cleared. The only problem was Dorothy Round was a very religious Sunday school teacher and refused to play on Sundays. On Monday down came the rain again.

They eventually DID finish though

Yeah, Graf played Tauziat in one SF. I think Tauziat was leading 3-0 in the first set when the match was stopped. It was probably Nathalie's best chance to ever beat Steffi, but they never finished the match. I think she lost all 21 other times they played and never even won a set. I can't remember who Busuki was scheduled to meet in the other SF.

Monica Seles
Lindsay Davenport
Kim Clijsters
Shino Tsurubuchi

warsaw 2010 was barely played because of the flooding and people pulling out for french open. It lost its rights and sponsorships too over it.

It was Elena Litkovtseva.
The players had the possibility to play the semi final on hard indoor court, but prefered not to do that. The double tournament however was finished indoor
