thats what i mean, why should she get a advantage like that? you know what wild-cards are like to me,, no? ok i will explain
its like when you are in a bus queue and there's like 105 people waiting and you're at the very front of the queue but, when the bus approaches it doesn't stop directly at the stop, it comes to a halt about 10 yards before the stop, opens its doors and there's a mass push forward by everybody in the queue to get aboard.
now you'd think the people who were down the line and waiting for about 10-20 minutes less than the people like me at the front would wait for us to go and board first but, heck no! and what happens? you are left standing the whole way home for 8 miles
and i had 4 bags of shopping that day, mostly tinned goods
She's playing in a WC playoff starting today so she might still get one. But she didn't even get a QWC...I doubt she really cares all that much. Classes at Duke start in the next week or so, she's probably just focusing on college at this point.
I feel Alexa should have gotten one over Alison. Alison outside of her grass results and her ITF indoor title runs last season has done nothing. Her outdoor hardcourt has been not so good. Alexa has been doing very well this season. She is around 150 and she got snubbed. I am sure she would have liked to play the Dallas event, but now since she has Qualies to play she can't. BUT the good thing is that by going through qualies, Alexa has a good chance of picking up some more much needed points to raise her rank some more. Jill does not deserve one much either, but at the same time she has had a long career and is on the outs, the WC was given out of respect.
Totally agree! Came back from injury to reach Quarterfinals Memphis as a qualifier, Qualied for Wimby with strong wins, recent straight set wins over Makarova (ranked 40ish), Qualied at Cincy with straight set wins over Johannsen, Mirza (ranked 60ish). Shocked.
