Re: How many Grand Slams will Petra Kvitova win in her career?

There isn't a theoretical limit.

She is already capable of beating Sharapova/Serena/Clijsters/Li. If those four decline there isn't anyone who wouldn't be a significant underdog to her. The juniors are just a vast wasteland of mediocrity.

I'm not saying Kvitova will win 10+ slams, but there is no good reason to say that she can't.

She really should easily win 5+ if she can keep this level of play up.

At least 8 but it all depends on injuries and other stuff.

Kvitova will never win Roland Garros and US Open. I think she'll win Wimbledon 3 times MINIMUM, and snatch the AO title once or so.

Re: How many Grand Slams will Petra Kvitova win in her career?

I remember thinking Svetlana would be the new Navratilova way back when. Hey ho. I think things will be clearer next year so I've plumper for 6. 3 Wimbledons, 1 US, 2 Aussies.

Monica Seles Superstar. Her fans never forget.

Players I root for now: Heather, Laura, Lucie, Marion, Serena, Simona, Svetlana, Venus, Vika. And Caroline.
Doubles and Mixed Doubles are fun and underrated.

LOL at 10+ winning the poll

I just can't see another playing reaching double digits with the grinding of the tour that will just get tougher. I say 4 Slams (3 Wimbledons, 1 AO)

5, Hopefully. Winning the 2nd slam is not easy, it took Serena two years to find the groove to win the second.
If Petra manages to win another one before 23 she should end up 5-7

I'd not be surprised with 3-7. Hopefully winning the YEC has solidified her belief. Don't say look at Sharapova, she had a much more competitive era imo.

Re: How many Grand Slams will Petra Kvitova win in her career?

6 or 7 probably. Her biggest rivals in slams would most likely be Azarenka, Pavly, Petko. At Wimbledon, Sabine and at the USO, Caro.
