Good showing from Lesya
So many BPs wasted though. 2/10

And the dish ran away with the spoon..
but Hawaii was the only state that would recognize the marriage as legal.

Nastia might not be a grass court player. She's going to have to play better to beat Petrova.

should have been easier
10DF, lots of saved BP. Has to serve better.

next, should beat Nadia considering her form lately.

Nastya have the same issue that Julia have on grass. Her long swings won't help her on grass. She don't get enough time on the ball on grass.

I'm just happy that she won. The grass court season is thankfully very short, this just isn't her surface. Big swing players like her won't get any support on this surface, although Vaidisova proved that they can play well on grass too. But of course she had a much better serve than Nastya. R2 will be very tough if Petrova is motivated. She's a good grass courter and is capable of rushing Nastya.

Anyway, just do your best

N. VAIDISOVA - T. GOLOVIN - A. BONDARENKO - A. SZAVAY
D. HANTUCHOVA - A. PAVLYUCHENKOVA - E. VESNINA - E. SVITOLINA
J. GOERGES - A. WOZNIAK - Y. WICKMAYER - E. BOUCHARD - Ka. PLISKOVA

Yeah, grass is definitely not suited for her game. Such a shame this fantastic draw has to be wasted on her worst surface, would have been more helpful at any other slam
