Caroline Wozniacki

Why do a lot of you seem to have such a problem with her? She is number one in the world through sheer hard work. So yes she does deserve it. Ok she hasan't won a slam yet but im sure she will she is only 20 years of age so plenty of time!!! Also she always comes across as a lovely person not arrogant in the slightest.

I think you are confusing her with Azarenka

Im not surprised with all the pressure people put on her poor girl can hardly breathe let alone play well in Grand slams. She is only 20 give her a break!!! She may have not won a grand slam yet but she has won plenty of other tournaments.

I dont think there's much pressure on her. Holding the #1 spot has been easy for her.
The players winning majors are older, they cant stay healthy or get focused for Tier I's, for whatever reasons.

I think Wozniacki put the microscope on herself with that onesided blowout loss in Paris.
Before that she was in 2 slam semis. But that hantuchova loss was a stinker that she cant keep doing at majors. She had done that against Kvitova. So 2 of the last 4 majors she was blown out before the quarters.
That's poor play and she has to play majors like a contender on grass and clay, or else she deserves to be criticized

In the 50s and 60s all the majors were grass and clay. There are no excuses for those losses

You're damn right she deserves it!
She's won 10 tournaments the last 12 months. Who's 2nd? Kim with 4?

Agree completely. I do not see her breaking out of her Slam issues until she gets more offensive minded.
