Richard Williams

I met Mr Richard Williams at Eastbourne! What a lovely guy he signed all autographs for the kids. When I spoke to him I think he thought I was a reporter.

I asked if Venus would win as it was Monday and he just smiled and told me to stick around as Serena would be around soon! I did but she didn't arrive. I carried out chatting to him and it was like chatting to a friend. I said we needed him here in Great Britain. When I said bye he smiled and wished me the best.

I was amazed.

Re: Richard Williams

I've met him on two different occasions at Key Biscayne and I can attest to this. He is not at all the same person who shoots shit to the press-- and there are always long lines of fans waiting for his autograph

Re: Richard Williams

Well I can only stick up for him and praise him! He signed an autograph for me and I was stood with him for over ten minutes! His wife was in the stands watching Venus. You could even hear her shout to Venus!

Richard Williams is a praise in my opinion especially with the young kids!

Re: Richard Williams

He is a very approachable chap, I saw him yesterday too, but I have to say he looked VERY frail and was being helped along when walking. Perhaps hes been ill?
