Has it ever happened for a player to win a tournament going to distance in each match

Sorry for writing it without a question mark but it was from the lack of space .

Did it happen before that a player won a tournament with playing every single match in three sets?

i would bet it happened a milion times, but too lazy to look it up.

Of course, it happened more often on a lower tier level.

^Close but no, her first match was 6-4 6-4 the rest were 3 sets. Paris 2010

I remember Capriati having to play alot of 3 set matches on her way to winning AO 02. Does anyone know how many straight set matches she won that year? I can remember every match she played in AO 01 but not her AO 02 title.

Is it really easier to ask here and wait for an aswer than just look it up yourself

No to Capriati AO 02, there were a couple of 2 setters

btw. I though Chakve could have one or two of those but no, close though...
