2000 top 10 would still be top 10

Watching Wozniacki vs Barbora and get totally frustrated.
It's like watching tennis from the 80's and I really believe that most of the players from
top 10 2000 would beat most of the players on the tour today. I get depressed by the game today when I remember the good battle back then.
This year's Roland Garros will be like the worst ever!

No Player Name Nation
1 Martina Hingis SUI
2 Lindsay Davenport
3 Venus Williams USA
4 Monica Seles USA
5 Conchita Martínez ESP
6 Serena Williams USA
7 Mary Pierce FRA
8 Arantxa Sánchez Vicario ESP
9 Anna Kournikova RUS
10 Nathalie Tauziat FRA

No, they are better players but now they are old and slow...

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

If the current crop of players were playing to their full capacity then no they wouldn't be. There's plenty of injured and slumping players on tour right now who have been near or at the top but are just struggling with form.

Most of those players would get destroyed by Wozniacki

what? you think hingis, davenport, pierce and the williams sisters would be struggling to hold a top 10 ranking? they spent years beating up on zvonareva and fran 2 of the current top 5 lol

Sure players are in a slump but I feel like players back then could play on a higher lever more often then nowdays. Wozniacki in todays match reminds me of Agnes Montoglio (no idea if I spelled that correctly)...

Good ol days again! It's like comparing a black and white tv to a new l.e.d. bugger!

BepaZvonareva Don't read my reps anymore, very relaxing Lydia Ko , Felicity Jones, Emilia Clarke, Rachel Khoo.
