Russian Armada is back!!!

So we have a rejuvenated talented shotmaker Sharapova climbing up the ranking ladder at last and reaching her first big final since AO in 2008...then we have another hugely talented ballstriker in Vika Azarenka, who is finally getting her game together and will play yet another russian Zvonareva in the semifinal. Fair to say russians are finally getting their act together and are ready to dominate the tour again...
Let's toast

Vika's from Belarus.

Yes, Russians are doing better than last year. But so far, they have nothing to brag about.

Based on one tournament?

You could've atleast waited to see if this wasn't another Cincinnat-like flash in the pan where everyone creamed over how Pova was back(!!!1). As we all know, later she went on to get demolished by Wozniacki, outhit by Kimiko date and out-choked Vesnina, on her favourite surface.

these two are huge talents as well. I've no doubt they'll eventually find their way into TOP 10.

She's not in your Armada. And she'll be trying her best to beat the shit out of it.

No....

I always wanted to be somebody. If I made it, it's half because I was game enough to take a lot of punishment along the way and half because there were a lot of people who cared enough to help me.

1. Vika is from Belarus.

2. Maria is not a talented shotmaker. She just bullies people with groundstrokes until hitting a winner is inevitable. Shotmakers make difficult shots, wrongfoot opponents easily, hit winners when their opponent is in an offensive/neutral position, CAN PASS PEOPLE AT THE NET.

Ana is a good shotmaker.

Best example of a good shotmaker is Federer. Does Masha remind you of Federer in any way?
