- Caroline Wozniacki has never beaten a top 5 player at a major.
- Caroline Wozniacki has not beaten a top 3 player en route to any of her 23 titles.
- Caroline Wozniacki has beaten two top 5 players en route to her 23 titles (#4 Zvonareva and #5 Schiavone)

-Her fans think she had very bad luck with her Grand Slam and Regular Tour draws.

Why 22? Why not 23 (+Peer/Pova/etc)? Why not 24 (+hotness of Razai/Kirilenko/etc)? Why not 21? Why not 20?

Which would probably read something like this:

1. Cibulkova LOST R1: 0-6 0-6 Her dignity.

Because I like 22. Ivanovic, Sharapova are a different generation to me, if we work from Wozniacki, who is only 20. Two years older and everything younger seems like the future. You donīt need to agree, but 25 players from the top 80 seems a good sample size.

Re: DEEP- The Next Generation

You are free to follow whatever generation you want (why don't set a cut off age at 22 years 3 months 14 days?) but I can foresee with a great probability that in the end you will lost interest in updating this thread as soon as No1 player of your list wins a slam or\and will finally get an opportunity to play and beat those few players of the "generation old" who have had luck to aviod playing the new Wozniacki so far.

Who have had luck to avoid her???? Pretty sure Clijsters didn't need luck to bring down the No1 player more than once

They played a close match at the YEC final. Caro won IW, there's nothing she can do if Kim retires

That's cool, I'm just telling the poster that I'm almost positive that players like Kim or Serena or Venus don't feel that they are lucky not to play her, they could probably care less

I hate the powerful dominance that Caro fans feel they have. Quite ambitious.

Re: DEEP- The Next Generation

Caro has made the SF in 10 of the last 11 tournaments she played. The finals 8 of the last 11, with 6 titles.
Being in her section is usually a bad draw for everyone there

True. They've been overcome with fear for some time already - Serena made up an injury and a life-threatening condition just to avoid playing her, Venus is suffering psychosomatic injuries brought on by the fear of Wozniacki, Clijsters withdrew from IW because she couldn't handle playing her again, and Henin did the wisest thing - she re-retired after having realised that even cheating wouldn't help her beat this tennis great.

Kim didn't play the new Woz, if she did I believe she would have gotten surprised.

All three didn't play the new her, if they did I believe they would realise how lucky they were not playing her on regular basic this year.

Why hate? Accept the reality as well as we do and happiness will knock your door as well.

Very plain sarcasm. None of their objective excuses is Caroline's problem.

Venus is definitely not the player she once was and I think if they play this year Caroline will probably win. As far as the other two I think that Caroline's game could greatly benefit if she had some embarrassingly bad losses to Kim and especially Serena. That would force her to change her game and develop her offensive abilities. In the short term she would lose more often but I think that the more often she played a healthy and in form Serena the better she would get. Caroline is already a very good player, just imagine how good she could be with a little more aggression added to her game.
