This match does prove that Lucie is far more mentally tougher nowadays than she used to be. She was a break down in the final set and struggling to hold her serve all the time, but still managed to turn things around.

Great job, good luck in finals. Get revenge for Paris.

It was very humid, bot of them were so wet near the end, it was tough match. Jarka had many BP's in the end but she was too tight. Lucie really wanted this match, how much energy will she have for tomorrow?

By the way, Lucie saved 13 out of 15 break points (87 %) and converted 4 out of 5 her own break points (80 %) on Groth´s serve.

Was only following livescores, but Groth had quite a few BPs in the last set - didn't take them.

Lucie broke serve for the match I think

Lucie She was fighting for it so hard, I thought she'd be done going a break down for 3-2, but she kept on asking the questions and saving the BP's. She's definitely proving more this year she can stay the distance over three sets.

Good luck against Jelena!

Now I've finally found,
All my friends are in the clouds

Amazing how she is fighting this year so many tough matches she has fought hard in, and winning a lot of them when she would usually lose them. She has a good shot at the title if she can recover well from this match.
