AO2011>AO2010(so far)

The Fran-Sveta match already overshadows anything that happened last year, but there have been some pretty damn good matches on both the men's and women's side this year. Nothing to rival slams past, but compared to recent slams, it's been a nice treat.

I'm watching Peng-Radwanska now and it's good quality and the crowd is really involved.
We have young players stepping up, but still some seeded players making it through and playing well.

Of course some will come in here and tell me how deluded and wrong I must be, but I don't think anyone can deny this tournament isn't the big sh!tfest all of TF predicted.

I always wanted to be somebody. If I made it, it's half because I was game enough to take a lot of punishment along the way and half because there were a lot of people who cared enough to help me.

No it doesn't. Last year's final was between two most accomplished players of the last decade and nothing in this AO can top that.Definitely not an overrated 4th round match.

LMFAO at 'one of the best matches of the open era' Last years final was a three set match between two real champions that didn't blow 40-0 leads to close out a mediocre hard court player.

The only reason why AO2010 would be overshadowed by AO2011 is because of that match.

Please stop telling me what to do. I did watch it and it was by no means the greatest match lol or anything like that.Yes they were both fighting and Schiavone was showing a lot of heart but it was not high quality like some of you want us to belive. It was still a 4th round match and they both wont win the title so it was just a historic little memory of AO2011 like Isner-Mahut.

I'm am totally 100% with you.

It has been a fine tournament thus far. The best week 1 of a Slam on the women's side in quite some time, probably a few years.

It will fizzle by the SF/F. Trust me. It's happened at almost every major in recent years.
