Who will win Australian Open 2011 in singles (10-optional poll)???

After week one almost done, what do You think now, who will win AO 2011 in singles competition?

and I'm not even fan of Ana Ivanovic... just an objective observer who realize how perfect she is

AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)

haha...are you really that sure kim will win? I mean I believe she's a huge favourite, too, but this year it seems many of the players are showing some better tennis...i wouldn't exclude some other ones.

After incomplete 3rd round there is still about 25ATP and 25WTA players still in the draw, which means over 600 different WTA&ATP AO/11 champ combination... so I just chose 9 with biggest probability. Right after this AO will be over, I will also open 10-optional poll-thread about upcoming Roland Garros with this 9 most realistic options:

Who will win Roland Garros 2011 in singles:
1) Justine Henin and Rafael Nadal
2) Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal
3) Caroline Wozniacki and Rafael Nadal
4) Samantha Stosur and Rafael Nadal
5) Kim Clijsters and Rafael Nadal
6) Ana Ivanovic and Rafael Nadal
7) Vera Zvonareva and Rafael Nadal
8) Svetlana Kuznetsova and Rafael Nadal
9) Francesca Schiavone and Rafael Nadal
10) some WTA big surprise and Rafael Nadal

When number of poll options is limited - just chose 10 most probable

I think Schiavone will win. She has the best record here besides Venus and Sharapova, and has only lost once in straight sets in her entire career down under.

I suppose it's between Clijsters and Clijsters getting the Aussie crown. But I'm gonna bet on Clijsters right now.On the men's side - I don't really care as long as I'm still on this forum.

What utter hogwash

She has lost heaps of times in straight sets in Australia/New Zealand and has a poor record at the AO.

Get off the crack

Samantha Stosur: US Open Champion 2011

Cornet // Diyas // Jankovic // Dellacqua // Pironkova // Halep // Hingis
Dulgheru // Gajdosova// Kanepi // Cetkovska // Svitolina // Niculescu // Errani

Kim has a decent chance, but I'm still picking Ivanovic.

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter....
