Players Changing Racquets And How it Affects Their Game..

But more specifically.. Caroline's new racquet..

Commentators were making comments (lol) implying Caroline sold out to Yonex
and they said her balls aren't has heavy and aren't as deep as they were..

What do you think about this and about other players changing racquets?

"But Isha, many people believe, could have been the third Williams sister"

JJ hasn't changed her racquet in years. She still uses Prince O3 White. I alwasy thought she should switch to a more powerful racquet, but idk. She hates change. Idk what kinda of racquet yonex makes but Caro needs to stay with the most powerful racquet out there.

Jelena Jankovic

Jumping over career opportunities since 2006...
As her fans watch in awe at her ability to fuck that up...

Victoria Azarenka ~ Venus Williams
Maria Kirilenko ~ Petra Kvitova

Most Yonex racquets are control-oriented sticks, and not so much easy power. You really have to hit through the ball for power with most Yonexes.

Too early to tell.

The off-season is the best time to switch racquet as you'll have more time to get used to it.
However, it seems Caroline was too busy flaunting her stuff all over the world than actually practising with her new Yonex toy.

It's not like she's a veteran who has a great legacy and is trying to bank on one last juicy deal.
She's the current 20 years-old #1 who hasn't any Slam final on her current ranking.

As much as she's ambitious and see highly of herself, the pressure of being a Slamless #1 will get to her.
She needed one quick and that may not happen.

So why the fuck to Caroline use Yonex now?

Correct. But the V-Core line, which Karolina uses, is supposed to be on the powerful end. Also, the pros rarely use the stock versions of the racquet they endorse anyway. I'm pretty sure that Yonex modified the racquet to Karolina's specifications after the testing period.

I think the reason behind Karolina's abysmal play recently was not the racquet change, but overplaying. That and the fact that she faced back-to-back, two players who were on fire.

I think it was the same case for Ana.. She was doing well with Wilson then switched to Yonex.
Not really. Ana reached Australian Open final, then won Indian Wells, and Roland Garros after her switch.
