Monica has obviously not got anything better to do in the off-season cos she is playing the Pam Shriver event with Lindsay Davenport in December as well !!!

Mirjana Lucic : Australian Open doubles champ and back in Top 100

Jelena Jankovic : US Open finalist 2008 and World No. 1

Jennifer Capriati : 3 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Rafael Nadal : 10 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Why don't Monica and Anna just create a few more WTA tournements for December, it'll get them some points, and make all these matches mean something

and where they produce desolation, they call it peace

See I totallyn think the WTA season shouldnm't be longer and cuting 2 weeks out as of last year was great.
And people want a shorter season but it just means more exhibitions get played- so the whole 'player needs a break' thing doesn't even ring true

There's the very interesting Dublin exhibition which will take place December 5-7... it's based on the Ryder Cup format with Euro players taking on American players. I think the European players are Schett, Majoli, Dokic, Kournikova and Hantuchova, and the US players are the Williams sisters, Capriati, Seles and Davenport. Hmmmmm....... I wonder which team is favoured to win.......

Actually...

the matches are:
Dec. 5- Davenport vs Schett & Kournikova vs Seles

Dec. 6-Seles/Davenport vs Schett/Majoli & Venus/Serena vs Hantuchova/Dokic

Dec. 7-Serena vs Majloi & Venus vs Dokic & Capriati vs Hantuchova

Also, Anna & Dani will be walking down the catwalk for a fashion show

In Belgium there is the 'diamond tennis games night' (or something like that). Last year it was in Antwerp, this year it'll be in Chaleroi and Kim and Justine will be playing eachother. It's somewhere in the second half of november, I think.

Bloody hell - you can't get Venus or Serena to play Fed Cup, but here they come!!! Davenport, Seles, Williams sisters and Capriati representing the USA!!! Billie Jean King must be gutted!!!

Mirjana Lucic : Australian Open doubles champ and back in Top 100

Jelena Jankovic : US Open finalist 2008 and World No. 1

Jennifer Capriati : 3 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1
