This is just going to become an "I'm voting for my fav thread"

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

Chanda - beats the world #1 and a white-hot Lindsay.

Tough call, though.

Reason is poor propaganda when opposed by the yammering, unceasing lies of shrewd and evil and self-serving men.

Definitely not Daniilidou. Can't be Schnyder either, because she didn't win.

You have to answer for Santino, Carlo.

Re: who had the best tournament this year?

These are obviously thr three best, and they all beat Davenport, so take her name out:

Rubin: in the JPMorgan Chase Open she beat irvin, bedanova, serena, dokic

Clijsters: in Filderstadt beat myskina, mauresmo and hantuchova.

Maleeva: at the kremlin cup she beat smashnova, venus, dechy, mauresmo

Kim and Maggie both beat Mauresmo, so we can take her out of the head to head. That leaves Maggie with Venus compared to Kim with Nastya and Daniela. So I'd have to say Maggie's event is better than Kim's. Eliminate Kim.

So its Chanda's Serena and Jelena against Maggie's Venus and Amelie. That's a tough one, real tough.
