Ivanna is mainley playing in juniors so far. She reached the quarter final in Wimbledon this year ( beating Gronefeld on her way), and the semi in doubles in US-open (loosing to the champs from Belgium). She could probably been a top athlete in any sport she would have choisen as she have made her mark in swimming ang gymnastics too!

$100,000 ?!!! That's about what players get for winning a Tier 2. Who's coming up with all this money for this event?

This is the TOTAL prize money for both men and women.

Each winner (man / woman) will get USD 8,000. This is slightly more than a $25K event .

However, since the winner also gets a WC to the Oz Open Main Draw, this is an automatic R1 prize money at a Grand Slam Event (around USD 9,000 to USD 10,000).

So that the actual amount the winner is certain to get by winning this event is more USD 17,000 to USD 18,000 thanks to the WC .
