Post AO...

There has only been one #1 that has made it through to the finals in all the draws.

FO - Ladies Double #1 Serena/Venus ()
W - Ladies Single #1 Serena ()

Compared to the AO where:

Mens single: Roger
Womens single: Serena
Womens Double: Cara/Liezel
Mens Double: Bob/Mike
Mixed: Cara/Leander

What a difference between then and now . Such a drop for #1's all around

Makes me wonder what will the USO look like.

Well besides the Grand Slams this year she's only played two events, and those were clay court tournaments (Rome and Madrid). Let's see how she does during the US hard court swing.

Serena Williams
21-Time Grand Slam Champion

6 AO ('03, '05, '07, '09, '10, '15) 3 FO ('02, '13, '15)
6 WBN ('02, '03, '09, '10, '12, '15) 6 USO ('99, '02, '08, '12, '13, '14)

All tournaments outside the Grand Slams (probably Miami & YEC) are no longer important to Serena.
Don't expect much from Serena during the US Open Series as you will be disappointed.

She & Venus should play some doubles in Cinncinatti & Toronto, now that is something that Serena might be interested in winning over the summer.
