Most upset ridden day at a Grand Slam?

Does anyone remember one day at a grand slam where there were a lot of upsets? (or more than usual)
if so please share

I know both WS & Mauresmo lost to lower ranked opponents, but Mauresmo let the pressure get to her, Myskina was a better clay courter than Venus & Capriati had just beaten Serena in Rome so I wouldn't call them 'huge upsets' as such.

I remember that...wondering how on earth the Williams sisters landed in a quarter with Ivanovic, Jankovic, and Henin...while Sharapova only had to deal with, potentially, Kuznetsova and Hingis....boy...was I wrong. Schnyder, Sharapova, Hingis, all gone!!!

Venus had a 15match winning streak on Clay
Wins in Charleston- 2 FedCup matches - Warsaw
and a Final in Berlin...

Myskina is on a 2 losing streak going to RG...
had won 1 match on clay in 2004 prior RG...
