So, will Wimby be won by another off-the-radar player?

UPDATE: 4 of the "Big 5" are now out of the tourney! We have Serena, then Zvonareva and 2 no-names in the semi's!

What do you think, can we expect a repeat of RG where an essentially random, off-the-radar player wins the Wimby title this year?

My feeling is that if the Williams sisters and Kim Clisters falter, then practically any player in the Top 30 could end up as the winner of this Wimby. There is no point even trying to speculate which one.

LOL, no. It's difficult that one of the Williams sisters doesn't win.

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

Wimbledon tends to be the most predicatable of slams these days. On Tennis channel they were touting Jankovic, a top seed, as a dark horse!

I don't see any non-favorite winning Wimbledon this year.

The Williams sisters are the obvious favorites, but if it is a rainy 2 weeks, someone else will win.

What does rain have to do with it?

I definitely think it will be a williams preferably venus, but if they don't win it i'm sure kim, sharapova or vika could rise to the occasion, anyone other than that although not impossible will not win.

Not unless Serena or Venus are considered "off-the-radar".

It's a rainy two weeks every year, and a Williams sister has won eight of the last 10.

For the record, Darrin, it didn't rain last year.
