Won a MM tournament cannot be called a peek for Na.

Re: Will Li Na peak too soon?

She has a big match with Jie in Eastbourne if they get to round 2.
But dont confuse Birmingham with Wimbledon.
Li was probably the favorite this tournament. Majors are much tougher

You never know what you're gonna get with Na set to set let alone match to match or tournament to tournament. Just enjoy this win and hope for the best at the big W. Another QF appearance would be awesome though.

Williams own Wimbledon, it's not like winning a MM means she has peaked at all

Re: Will Li Na peak too soon?

Na doesn't know what it means to carry on form to future matches. She is pretty hot and cold. Plus she isn't a player like Serena or Venus who can actually afford to time when they peak and such. Na did lose 3rd round at RG with a very good draw to make it deep.

Either way, I hope Na makes the quarters at Wimby at least.

And if your life were gold, how long do you think you'd stay living?

Re: Will Li Na peak too soon?

Li has a very good game. Maybe like Schiavone, it just takes time for her to learn to play her best in the biggest matches.

Peak too soon is still better than never peak before.
