Tennis player & singer in one person

Just came across a tennis player who's both singer and tennis player.
Noel Scott from USA was ranked as high as WTA 962 in october last year.
Still a junior - kinda promising, reached a final in doubles of Orange Bowl last year.
Her myspace profile:

Music is shit but still kudos for ambition.

Any more such phenomenons?

Olga Barabanschikova had much more singles success (was in the top 100, maybe even top 50) and retired and did country or folk music.

And if your life were gold, how long do you think you'd stay living?

Re: Tennis player & singer in one person

yep, i totally love it. Vocal in verses to "I don't care", anyone? Or the synth-cold stylization of "In my head" ended with the sweetest chorus? "Celebrity" would be the only fail here, but I love the Múm/Lali Puna- like beginning. I sense a new indie pop star here, gotta mail her to Pitchfork

Re: Tennis player & singer in one person

Viele's attempts are shit scary, but I'm loving Noel Scott more and more The beginning of "Nobody knows" sounds kinda like a crazy attempt of pop variation of "Where is my mind" by The Pixies

The beats are ok but her vocals are not good. Ohwell. Well done for the ambition, yes.

Her vocals are quite horrid but the music is ok I guess, nothing spectacular though.
