Which veteran player would you like to be the next surprise slam winner???

OK, I'm done bitching about Schiavone winning. Now it's time for a happy thread

Which of the following, currently active, non-slam-winning, not-currently-top-15, turned-pro-before-2000, veterans would you like to see be the next surprise slam winner? These are the options:

Kimiko Date Krumm, born 9/28/70 (age 39), turned pro 1989, currently ranked #72
Jill Craybas, born 7/4/74 (age 35), turned pro 1996, currently ranked #101
Rossana De Los Rios, born 9/16/75 (age 34), turned pro 1989, currently ranked #102
Tamarine Tanasugarn, born 5/24/77 (age 33), turned pro 1994, currently ranked #66
Tathiana Garbin, born 6/30/77 (age 32), turned pro 1996, currently ranked #56 (She is!?!)
Patty Schnyder, born 12/14/78 (age 31), turned pro 1994, currently ranked #61
Sybille Bammer, born 4/27/80 (age 30), turned pro 1997, currently ranked #55
Alicia Molik, born 1/27/81 (age 29), turned pro 1996, currently ranked #94
Klara Zakopalova, born 2/24/82 (age 28), turned pro 1999, currently ranked #79 (love her! )
Nadia Petrova, born 6/8/82 (age 27), turn pro 1999, currently ranked #20

(Note: Technically Anastasia Rodionova, who's a month older than Petrova and turned pro in 1997, should also be an option here, but I decided to cut her to fit Petrova in.)

My first pick would be Zakopalova, for purely sentimental reasons (she always looks so sad! I want her to be happy for once!), but I'd be content with Petrova too, because she's probably the best player of the bunch. Who would you guys pick???

I just looked at the players in the top 120 and picked the oldest ones who turned pro before 2000. Obviously it goes without saying that few, if any, will ever contend for a slam title, but their chances obviously seem a lot better now than they did 24 hours ago. At this point I honestly think just about anything is possible---and probably some of these players are starting to think like that now too. This will probably be a big inspiration to other older, lower-ranked players who previously didn't think they had a chance to win a slam. It will be interesting to see if anyone else can pull off a similar result. That said, in most cases I'll probably keep rooting for the younger players---which is what I tend to do currently.

First, weed out all of the ones who have not at least made 2 GS QF. I know you want to pretend like Francesca winning was a joke, random, a wtf, and she didn't have the goods, but anyone who has followed her over the years knew she had the talent.

Seriously, what are you so outraged about? Did you think Caro would just waltz past Dementieva and Stosur to claim her first Major title? Your posts re: this final are seriously unwarranted.

She has been kinda the giant slayer (in one match) in the last two GS, just wished she could maintain it somehow.

Out of the list, Nadia first then Tammy or Kimiko.
Na is another of my option too.
