Now that Schiavone has a grandslam championship, who else?

You wouldn't bet against Flavia Penetta for Wimbledon. She moves well on the grass and hits some clean, flat strokes. At 28, she is also young and still improving.

On the US hard courts, I really think Marion Bartoli is in with a shot at her first grandslam title. She won Stanford last year, and seems to enjoy a regular fast bounce. She'll the one to watch.

Shahar Peer is without a doubt a contender on any clay court, and I can see her lifting the French Open trophy in maybe 5 years time. Or Alize Cornet, when her form recovers.

At the Australian Open, perhaps Anna Chakvetadze will emerge revitalised in time for next year's tournament.

There are endless, and exciting, possibilities.

The usual suspects:

Safina, JJ still have some time, but could be overtaken by new comers

Flavia, Dementieva, Petrova : not too much time left. Opportuity door could close soon

Hopefully the fattest player on tour. In fact, I hope the winner of each bloats themselves especially for the tournament.

Marion Bartoli // Sam Stosur // Andrea Petkovic // Maria Jose

Vika Azarenka // Shahar Peer // Virginie Razzano // Caro Wozniacki// Flavia Pennetta

Elena Baltacha // Katie O'Brien // Anne Keothavong // Sarah Borwell // Melanie South // Naomi Cavaday

Tipping Titles 2010: Miami, Rome, Eastbourne, Stanford

I hope they present the winner with a trophy full of popcorn.

If that's the kind of entertainment you seek in women's tennis, you will never be disappointed as of 2010.

You act like Wozniacki won instead of a woman with an enjoyable all-court game. Please seek help.

Re: Now that Schiavone has a grandslam championship, who else?

Flavs will beat Lena D for her maiden Wimbledon crown.

At the USO final, Bartoli will beat a JJ coming from her first ever victory over Justine.

All the players you hate.
