Personally, I blame the FO organizers.

Really stupid of them to put both Henin-Maria and Jelena-Boderenko matches last today. Was near total darkness when both 2nd sets were completed. Even I had a hard time seeing the ball on TV, and that was after they "brightened" the coverage of the entire 2nd set!

Someone should be answerable for this mess. Especially when it ruined the players chances of winning a GS.

Your sig picture exceeds the 200 pixel height limit.

Australian Open 2010 Final Result:-
Lost to Serena Williams 4-6, 6-3, 2-6 (Great job, girl! Now prepare for FO!)

Re: Personally, I blame the FO organizers.

It cost them Monfils, Rezai and now possibly Henin? Thay have put Tsonga in the same situation, he plays last tomorrow.

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

And I taught the Wimby organizers were bad (pre-roof era).

I agree, they should have started 1 hour earlier at least. Also having Dojkovic on Chatrier was also kind of useless...

Re: Personally, I blame the FO organizers.

Put up some damn lights! It's so frustrating and doesn't make sense why they don't have them. It's not fair to the players, the spectators, and the fans watching on TV.

RG organizers have exceeded a level of incompetence rarely seen at a GS.

It took them 6 minutes to decide whether to stop or continue the Monfils match.
And they decided to continue, wasting 6 minutes of relative light.

So you would not object if it was men whose matches were postponed?

As in Wimbledon, tradition is holding them back.
It will be the same for the hawkeye, they do not want to stop seeing the chair umpire climb down the ladder and check the mark.

Don't think the FO guys will invest in one. Tradition must be preserved

Having no hawkeye is ok, but if they want to stop getting behind and delaying matches, for the sake of the players and the tournament and fans gets lights so matches are not delayed to the next day (unless it rains of course).
