"Missed return and Henin says allez. It's a bit amateurish to do that."

The commentator on TTC continued to say "great players don't do that." What do you guys think? lol He called her the "allez specialist."

I don't recognize Juju after her comeback.
For me she is this new player.
And I don't like her

It's annoying in the extreme, especially when she does it after her opponent commits an error. So classy.

Re: "Missed return and Henin says allez. It's a bit amateurish to do that."

The dumb commentator said it after a service winner from Justine to save break point. Justine had every reason to "allez" on that point.

Besides, I'd argue that hitting a short slice against Zakapolova is equivalent to hitting a winner against her.

A single flow'r he sent me, since we met./All tenderly his messenger he chose;
Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet - One perfect rose.
I knew the language of the floweret;/'My fragile leaves,' it said, 'his heart enclose.'
Love long has taken for his amulet/One perfect rose.
Why is it no one ever sent me yet/One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it's always just my luck to get/One perfect rose.

Klara should have Break and 3-2 instead

She was pushing Henin back

I think it's become a habit that's all. People shouldn't be so harsh.

At least she isn't screaming like a banshee everytime she hits the ball.

Re: "Missed return and Henin says allez. It's a bit amateurish to do that."

Just as Hewitt should have trademarked the "Come ON!" Henin should have the "Allez."

So many players are Allezing opponents errors these days. It is kind of rude, but the adrenaline is flowing and maybe it can't be helped. Imagine a Henin match without a single Allez.

Re: "Missed return and Henin says allez. It's a bit amateurish to do that."

Hey, AMG and Lena D. were fist-pumping all morning--when they hit WINNERS.

Didn't bother me, even when the evil Spaniard was doing it, even given my hysterial levels of bias in that match. Celebrating an opponents unforced error is amatuerish--worse than that, even, since you can actually be penalty pointed for that at the youth level in USTA.

Yeah, maybe on set or match point, it's different because your celebrating winning, as opposed to your opponents mistake. But there are players on both the ATP and WTA tours who freakin' pump their fist and shout something when they're down like 1-5, 0-40 and their opponent makes an UE. It's not any better when idiot American football players do dances after making a tackle when their team is losing 49-0 or soccer players do huge productions after scoring goals when their team is down 4-1.

I hate that shit, too.
