Is the French Federation trying to manufacter a win

for Henin like the USTA did for Roddick by manipulating the schedule to her advantage? Andy was scheduled to play early after every delay keeping him on schedule while most of his major opponents were playing back to back.

they will laso have maria alves to umpire her matches when the going gets tough! if all else fails, you can count on the crowd to weigh in.

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

Uhm, she's scheduled last.

Everything you do continues long after you've gone

Yes they did.

The funny thing is , it back fired, they misjudged Monfils form.
Few more minutes of daylight, and Monfils would have lost.

IF this was true then they wouldn't have given Gasquet an early start and pretty much fucked up any chance of him winning in a best of five match.

Seriously...cause nothing they do will will help Gasquet win...with the exception of perhaps a labatomy. But cancelling Serena's matches and having her play back to back...will give Justine an advantage.

They could have easily given Gasquet the Tuesday start. This is a ridiculous conspiracy theory.

Re: Is the French Federation trying to manufacter a win

If they are, they're being very pretentious it they're targeting Serena. Henin's got to get through Zakopalova, and then (probably) Sharapova and Stosur before we can even discuss a quarterfinal. Certainly doable, but no gimme. And I seriously doubt postponing a second-round match will affect Serena too much. She has a tendency to rise to the occasion, and by the time the quarters come around, she'll be just fine.

ETA: It's also worth noting that at this point, there's not even a guarantee Henin will get on court today. I'm not too worried at any conspiracy theories in her favor yet.
