Re: So who will win these tournaments in the clay season?

I think it's almost impossible to predict the winners. I'd like to see Vika win Marbella or Charleston. And hopefully Jankovic has a shot at Stuttgart or Rome, although the one I would want Jeja to win would be Madrid. Caro will most likely take out PV Beach, and Juju RG.

Doubles Specialist Јеlena Jankovic
Crowd Favourite Victoria Azarenka
Former Tennis Player Petra Kvitová

Kim is playing Stuttgart. Not saying she will win it but if she is a contender for RG and Madrid then I guess she is a contender here to

Good Luck: Belgian & Czech Girls

Well I just entered members of the top 10. I did say those were only a 'few main contenders'.

Re: So who will win these tournaments in the clay season?

I think this will be a good clay court season, especially if Dinara returns healthy.
With Justine and Kim back, Caro and Jelena in the IW final. I expect the Williams are going to try to compete and not let Justine roll unopposed. Plus Vera is healthy this year, Sveta and Lena.

This is a strong group. If the Dinara is healthy one of the strongest clay groups ever

Lol @Sharapova considered as a main contender for FO while Kuzzie and Safina are not even mentioned.

Give back 2006 US Open to Justine

Re: So who will win these tournaments in the clay season?

I think this is where Justine will make a clean sweep of most clay court titles.

Obviously not playing competitively on the surface since 2008, she must miss it.

And as a non-fan of course I don't want her to win Roland Garros, but wouldn't feel bad if she did.

I hope Sveta gets her shit together for clay.

Re: So who will win these tournaments in the clay season?

Justine is pretty much the favourite to win most of the clay court tournaments, considering her dominance in clay tournaments of the past.

I'd pick Miss Samantha Frame-sur as a dark horse to win one, considering her run last year at RG, the fact she is a Top 10 player, and that her game suits a clay court; the only problem is her consistency, which seems to be improving...

...But I am Australian, so of course I would talk up one of my own!

Main contender?

Anyway.. Stuttgart seems to be the most interesting as always. Hopefully one title for Jelena and Sveta before RG.

JJ should realy do well in the clay season. Why isn't Justine headlining every clay tourny she enters?

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

But you put Sharapova as a contender for all of the ones she's playing? Sorry but I don't think she's a contender for any clay title this year. She might go deep in some, but do you honestly see her winning them? Main contender.
